Why landowners call us
Dozers built for rural ground
We push waterways, pads, roads, and trails. This is field edges, timber, and wet spots—not a suburban lot.
Protect the farm and the timber
Low-impact methods. Topsoil stays where it belongs. Waterways are protected from silt. Usable wood is piled or decked, not wasted.
One crew for clearing + dirt work
Brush, stumps, grading, culverts, and pads in one mobilization. Less downtime.
Hunting land that still hunts
Game trails and food-plot edges cut so wildlife keep using the property. Access without turning the place into a parking lot.
Cleaning waterways
Around fields, ditches, and low ground
Silted ditches and choked field drains cost acres and yield. We use the dozer to pull sediment, reopen flow lines, reshape banks, and leave a clean, sloped channel that moves water off the field instead of through the crop.
- Field ditches and grassed waterways
- Sediment pull and bank reshape
- Outlet cleanouts near tile and culverts
- Low-impact work that protects topsoil
Game trails
Hunting access that still looks like woods
We cut and grade quiet travel lanes for deer, turkey, and you. Narrow enough to stay natural. Wide enough for a UTV, a stand pack, or a drag. Tied into food plots, creek crossings, and existing ridges.
- Ridge and bottom travel corridors
- Stand and blind approach lanes
- Plot edges and funnel openings
- Soft grade—no raw scars if you don’t want them
Off-grid roads
Access that lasts past the first rain
Cabin tracks, timber roads, and farm lanes that get you in and out every season. We cut the corridor, set the crown, pull ditches, and leave room for culverts so the road doesn’t become a creek.
- New cut-ins from the county road
- Timber and hunting-camp access
- Crown, ditch, and turnout work
- Culvert seats and wet-spot bypasses
Homesite pads
A level start for house, shop, or cabin
Clear the trees and brush, strip and stockpile topsoil, cut and fill to grade, and leave a compacted pad ready for the builder, the slab, or the pole barn. We can tie driveway grade into the pad so water drains away from the structure.
- House, cabin, shop, and barn pads
- Cut / fill and rough-to-finish grade
- Driveway approach into the pad
- Topsoil saved for final dress
Dozer services
Also on the dozer
Brush & lot clearing — Overgrown acres, fence lines, and building lots.
Stumps & grubbing — Roots out so the grade is clean for seed or slab.
Ponds & water features — Cleanouts, new basins, and spillway grade.
Field edges & fence rows — Reclaim acres lost to hedge and multiflora.
Storm cleanup — Windthrow, washouts, and blocked access.
Finish grade & seeding prep — Leave it ready for grass, plots, or concrete.
Land clearing that matches the next use
Clearing is not one job. A building lot, a field edge, and a hunting tract need different finishes.
- Build sites: trees and brush off, stumps out, pad and driveway grade ready for the builder.
- Farm ground: reclaim fence rows and waterways without burying good topsoil.
- Timber and hunting land: keep travel corridors, plot edges, and usable wood. Marketable timber can be bought and hauled as part of the same mobilization when it makes sense.
- Storm and access work: get the road or lane open first, then finish the rest.
If there is timber value on the tract, we can look at that on the same walk. Registered Illinois timber buyer.
